Ingrid Račková and David Suchopárek are a renowned glass art duo from the Czech Republic, celebrated for their innovative and striking glass sculptures. They met while studying at the University of Applied Arts in Prague, where Račková focused on glass art under Prof. Vladimír Kopecký and Suchopárek studied glass architecture under Prof. Marian Karel. Their creative and personal partnership culminated in the founding of their IRDS studio in 2001.

Their art combines sleek, geometric forms made from expertly cut optical glass, often exploring themes of light, reflection, and color. Their works are characterized by vibrant color gradients and the interplay of light through various glass forms. Notable pieces, such as their pyramidal sculptures, delve into the convergence of natural and human forces, symbolizing their fascination with balance, movement, and harmony between chaos and peace.

A significant aspect of their career is their collaboration with the prestigious Moser Glassworks. For Moser, they designed various successful collections, including vases and glass objects that seamlessly blend artistic creativity with functional design. However, despite their commercial success, they remain dedicated to their artistic roots, continually producing original works that push the boundaries of glass sculpture.
